Sacramento, the capital of California, is located in the Central Valley, at the confluence of the American and Sacramento
Rivers. The discovery of a few flakes of gold in the millrace in Coloma, about 45 miles away, touched off the Gold Rush of
1849. Today, Sacramento is a government and commercial center, with a full array of cultural resources, entertainement, museums,
golf courses and shopping, and is a convenient starting point for day and overnight trips to the Napa and Somona wine country,
the High Sierra, and San Francisco and the Delta.

and third bedrooms each have two twins.

has large accessible shower (no tub).
Living room, large kitchen, dining room, family room, pool, covered patio.
Central heat & air, TV wired for satellite or cable; VCR/DVD, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, washer & dryer, piano,
automatic garage door opener, automatic lawn & garden sprinklers, patio tables & chairs, badminton net. One half of
the 2-car garage will be available and there is a second driveway and area for RV/boat.

Rental Rates and Terms:
Currently accepting long term rentals of 8 months or more starting in October 2008. Generally no pets;
some exceptions may be considered.
Rates for up to three persons - $1900/mo fully furnished, $2000/mo unfurnished. Add $125/mo for each
additional person. For rentals of less than 2 months - $950/wk July through September, weeks of major holidays; $750/wk
rest of year; $75/wk for each additional person.
For safety reasons because of pool, kids under 7 must be able to swim. Absolutely no smoking in the house.
Supplemental deposit required if there is to be any smoking anywhere.
Owner provides pool and lawn maintenance, pest control service, city sewer/trash service, local phone,
cable or satellite TV and high-speed internet. Renters for more than 4 weeks pay gas, electric, and water.

Weather:
Spring is beautiful. Early March may still bring an overnight freeze now and again and some foggy days,
as daffodils burst into bloom and skiers head to the mountains. By April, we have early blooming roses and a profusion of
azaleas. Occasional showers are far outnumbered by bright sunny days and incredible blue skies. May and June are perfect for
picnics, hikes, biking and sightseeing. The pool warms up in June. Summers are dry and hot, especially in
late August, with very low humidity, an abundance of sunshine, and a breath of coolness in the evening. There is
rarely a single drop of rain from mid-June through September.
